In-Person Distribution - Lake City Wednesday 2026

Sharing food and resources with our neighbors is at the heart of our purpose! Volunteers helping in this position will work directly with our neighbors to distribute food according to their needs.

Make sure to dress for the weather, as our warehouse is not climate-controlled! You can expect to serve with 8-12 other volunteers in various roles to support our food distribution, including 1) allotting food from specific categories depending on each client's household size and preferences, 2) restocking food at the distribution tables, 3) running grocery carts to our neighbors' cars and back (must be 17 years or older), or 4) allotting hygiene items to clients.

Please show up on time and sign in at the office; we depend on volunteers showing up on time for their shifts in order to adequately serve our neighbors. A few extra points: At this time, we are asking that anyone exhibiting symptoms of a cold or virus, such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, to not come in. We will happily provide masks and gloves for volunteers if you do not have them! Lastly, please wear closed-toe shoes while in the warehouse.
