Our mission is to help our entire community obtain their necessities. We need volunteers to help us pack boxes for people who are unable to make it into our regular distribution. These boxes will be packed according to dietary restrictions and then delivered by volunteers later in the day. Make sure to dress for the weather, as our warehouse is not climate controlled! You can expect to work with 4 to 5 other volunteers as we sift through items. This opportunity will require standing for the duration of the shift as well as bending and lifting boxes up to 30 lbs.
A few extra points: At this time, we are asking that anyone exhibiting symptoms of a cold or virus, such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, to not come in. We will happily provide masks and gloves for volunteers if you do not have them! Lastly, please wear closed-toe shoes while in the warehouse.
